Hello all -
I don't remember exactly how I came across te site, but it looked friendly and interesting so I figured I'd join and see what I can toss into the mix.

Anyway - I've dug through my photos and uploaded some of the ones that I like. Have a look and feel free to comment - especially on howto make that photo better, or do a better original capture.

And - I will definitely be picking up a DSLR in the next few months. Since I have a bag full of EOS glass, you can probably guess which one.

(All of the uploaded photos except a couple were taken with a Canon EOS 10s, a camera I really like. But it's time to move on...

Welcome. You're right, this is a friendly site and one of the better ones I use. I too have a Canon 10D and lots of glass. Hopefully, sometime this spring or early summer will be getting a 20D. Live in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Kevin does a great job with the site. A lot of valuable, informative links and a lot of help from other members. Will gladly look at your photo's.

Ah.. but I have a Canon 10s .

(Predecessor to the Elan, c. 1991. A very good camera, even now. First Canon EOS with multi-point autofocus, plus a few arcane features not seen before or since.)

My wife has an EOS 630 which she swears by.

Somewhere I also have my old Canon AE-1 - FD mount that I got at the PX in Korea back in '79. The nighttime picture (posted in the galleries) of the soldiers repairing the tank was taken with that one.. existing light (from the floods on the lifting boom), about 1/15sec, hand-held. FD 50mm 1.8 lens, probably wide open.

Hello Mark! Welcome to the show! This site is great and with great people! You'll have fun. Very friendly and unlike most of the other sites out there where people fight get rude and just plain suck!
