July 21, 2005 - Recently, we have announced the acquisitions of several photography web sites. These include, Snapfotos.net, Photolot.com, Photoplanet.net, Dailyphotocontest.com, ThePhotoDepot.com and ThePhotodepot.net.
These acquisitions included domain names, content, users and all developed code for these sites. Users of these sites should be assured that with these purchases, nothing will change in the short term.
In the next serveral days, some services on these sites may be interrupted. This is due to moving the sites to our high speed servers. Also, for those concerned about your privacy, please understand, we will never under any circumstances sell or give out any personal information (including email address, billing information, or addresses) to anyone for any reason.
For those of you hosting photos on one of the above sites that may be effected by downtime, we have copied all of your photos to a private server where you will be able to access them at anytime. You should have received an email with your username and password and URL to the new temporary site.
The acquistion of these site broadens our user community and enhances the services we can offer our users. Over the next several months, we plan on many new features and are working hard to bring these enhancements to you.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at admin@thephotostation.net.
Thank you for your time and patience with the move and welcome to ThePhotoStation.net family.
Regards,
Kevin
