The Luminous-landscape.com has posted a very interesting article on how to photograph this rare event. The eclipse will be visible throughout North and South America as well as extreme Western Europe. In North America it will occur not long after sunset on the west coast, around midnight on the east coast, and at sunrise in the U. K. and western Europe.
For a special treat they are also putting together a workshop in Death Valey, CA that week for those who are interested.
I strongly recommed at least reading the "How to" article and if you can, I highly recommend getting to the workshop. These guys are top notch and it is well worth the trip.
