Welcome to ThePhotoStation.net. The following procedures would help you make the best use of the system.

1. Register Yourself

You will need to register yourself for an unique user id on the site before you may submit a photo. post to the forums, or post to the Photography Review Area. If you haven't registered, Click Here (http://www.thephotostation.net/forums/register.php?s=&action=signup) . Registration is completely free. We ask that you closely read and follow the rules during the registration process.

2. Registration Confirmation

After the registration, you will be sent an automatic email to confirm your email address. In that email you will be given a link that you must click in order to confirm registration. Our privacy policy prohibits us selling your email address.

3. Upload Your Photo

You may submit your photo to the galleries and share it for rating and receiving critiques from other members. Each free account is given 25MB to store and display their photos. To save limited server space and to optimize display for most viewers on the site, please limit your photo or image to 600 x 600 pixels. The image file size should not larger than 1000KB. Images containing Nudity are allowed, but must be either in a PRIVATE Personal Gallery (Password Protected) or in our Adults Only Category. Access to the Adults Only Category is restricted to Premium Members only (For age verification purposes). A Premium Membership is $2.95 a month or $24.00 a year and comes with 500 MB of storage.

For a list of Images NOT allowed, you are required to read our TOS (Terms of Service) (http://www.thephotostation.net/display.php?file=tos.htm&i=1). Failure to abide by these rules will result in your account being suspended.

4. Check Your Photos

You may check your personal photo gallery. Click the link "My Gallery" at the left-top menu to obtain a list of all photos you have submitted.

5. Resend Photo Image File

You may edit the information submitted with your photo, and resend the photo image file without deleting the complete photo record. Click the link "Edit Photo" at the bottom menu bar when viewing the photo to enter the edit mode, click "Choose File" buttun to select a new photo image file for upload and replace the existing photo image file in the gallery.

6. Move Photo Between Different Gallery

You may move a previously submitted photo from the existing gallery to a new gallery. Enter the photo edit mode and select a new gallery in "Change category?" menu list.

7. Delete Photo

You may delete a previously submitted photo permanently. Enter the photo edit mode and mark the delete check box then click the "Submit changes" buttun.

8. Manage Your Photos

You are responsible for managing your photos in the gallery and delete any out date photo to save space on the server.

9. My Favorites Gallery

You may add your favourite photo into the "My Favorites" gallery. Click "Add to Favorites" at the bottom menu bar whenever you are viewing a photo. To obtain a list of your favorites photos, click the "My Favorites" at the left-top menu.

10. E-mail Notification

By default, you will receive e-mail notification whenever your photo receives a comment. If you would like also to receive notification on a specific photo that is posted by other member, click "Receive Email Updates" at the bottom menu bar when viewing the photo.
