What do you use anyway?

I tend to do mine mostly 700 x 550, don't ask me why its just a nice number that seems to fit on screens well. Should be able to get a very high quality image under 200kb

Max file upload in the Forums is 200K. If you insert an image that is hosted in our Photo Gallery, then your image can be as large as 1MB, but that is getting pretty big.

The size of your photo should not be bigger than 600X400. It can be, but we frown upon that due to it would make some people have to scroll to see the image. Plus, 600X400 is plenty.
