We have turned on an image protection system that prevents people from hotlinking images directly from the site. This will deter certain types of image theft. If you have any questions about this system, please email us at security@firestorm.com
UPDATE 06.FEB.03 - This system is now OFF. Many of our Photographers prefer to be able to hotlink their images to other sites, so we decided the positives outweigh the negatives. We are still working on the watermarking system. We want to make this as unintrusive as possible.
A new watermarking system is being tested and should be live in the next few days. This new system will help prevent direct theft of images off the site. Each photographer will have a choice to use the watermarking system or not.
