According to Pentax Japan and Dpreview.com, Pentax has announced the unfortunate delay of the *IST-D DSLR until end of August due to a material shortage.. Originally, Pentax planned to launch the camera in June.
The news comes just as Pentax users were thinking about that DSLR in their hands by summer. After the falling out of the former DSLR project this does not seem to be encouraging news to their users. Many owners of their glass, and bodies do hope that history does not repeat its self.
