Good Morning World! Life is full of changes, some good, some bad, some are just changes and don't matter!

My life is so full of changes and ups and downs, that I feel like I'm on a roller coaster, going through a haunted house and watching a 4D movie all at the same time.....lol.

I am trying to get Chuck's disability and have made him go to every doc and have every kind of test done that I could think of that would help prove his disability. He has hated it, grumbled and complained, and sometimes even went kicking and screaming. It's been very hard since the end of May, but we have survived with the guidance and strength of God. Our attorney is finally starting the paperwork, but feels very positive that we will get approved on the first try. Chuck has enough of the after effects from the stroke to qualify. All the MRI's and scans said it was a mild stroke and to just look at him, you wouldn't even know he had had one. But, let him open his mouth to speak and you can tell. His neurologist even had a neuro psych test done. It was an 8 hour testing session at Emory University. The bottom line was that he should not be doing anything dangerous like cooking or driving.....lol. Thank goodness he don't cook anyway and with his depression right now, he is content with not driving. It all boils down to having his 6 doc all say the same thing......he can't work. Now it's just a waiting game. SSI will probably take 30 - 60 days to just get the file set up....lol....that's ridiculus! But, we can't make them go any faster.

So we wait now and see what new changes will appear in my already topsy turvy life!

Thanks Kevin and Aad for your comments. Prayers are the best thing now!

It's great to get back in here and when life slows down I'll get back into posting photos. I've been doing a lot of knitting lately to relax and have started desiging knitted sock patterns and actually selling copies of the pattern. I've been making wooden sock blockers and have so many orders that I can't keep up with them. It's great tho, as it's extra money to support my knitting habit.....lol.

There are some very old buildings right up the road from where I work that are going to be torn down to build a park for the community and I really need to bring my camera to work with me tomorrow to get shots of them before they are gone.

So, what is everyone esle up to?

Deb,
Hi long time no chatter - thought I'd pop by and see how things were round here. Sorry to hear the bad about Chuck. My Dad had a couple of strokes years ago and recovered from them fully - even his speech which went odd for a while. Hope they can sort something out for him.
I have been away to Thailand with my wife and Sam so he could meet his grandparents for the first time. We had a great 3 weeks but back at work now it was all over so quickly. I have updated the web page so there are some pictures of Sam and Thailand on there now if your interested. I am trying to get back into photography again as since Sam was born I haven't done it much. www.pokthai.co.uk/hhdp (http://www.pokthai.co.uk/hhdp)

Later,
