This is a try out , I used my scanner to scan the leaves and used a template for the background. Used layers in PS to blend them together. What do you think?

That's great! Awesome colors and textures... I like the composition and whatever it was you used for the background. It has a lot of life in it. Very nice...

Thanks for your kind words, the background is or should be available in our download section as "templates" I uploaded them yesterday for anyone to use.
