Hey Girl! I like this shot - but -- the focus is off slightly. I think you are trying to get too close with your camera . The DOF (depth of field) is wonderful - by blurring the background you made the dragonfly the main element in the photo, and the composition isnt to bad really. The focus is just really soft - the eyes should be tack sharp if at all possible. It looks to me like you had the AF point on the left wing becuase it is sharper than the rest of the dragonfly. Overall though its really not a bad shot. Next time try a little 'tiltography' and see the difference it makes in the composition too....Dragonflys never want to sit still so to capture one this closely is pretty good in itself.
What are everyone elses comments? Lets give Tammy lots of feedback becuase she is very eager to improve.
